Tricia Vaughan is an Ohio native that transplanted to Lebanon, TN in 2006. Her love of all things dog led her to start Pleasant Pup in February of 2009. As a veterinary assistant with a large local veterinary clinic, Tricia saw a real need for positive based training in the Nashville area. Working in a busy veterinary clinic she saw countless cases of fear based behavioral issues and wanted to help. She started taking clients after work and on weekends and a small business was born. Today, Pleasant Pup is a thriving company servicing the greater Nashville area, Williamson, Rutherford, and Wilson Counties. Tricia also designs and hand makes a line of custom leather dog collars and leashes. If you are with a rescue and are interested in having Tricia design a collar that will benefit your rescue, please make inquiries at: info_pleasantpup.com.
In her spare time, Tricia enjoys training and showing her Doberman Pinschers, Dante and Dasher. Dante currently holds a CGC, WAC, and RN AKC title. In addition, he has a first leg to his BN and RA. Dasher is a very recent addition to the family and is showing great potential. Watch for both boys in the agility ring in the near future! Tricia shares her life with her husband John, Dante, Dasher, and their three dog savvy cats: Domino, Alice and Miller.
